Great news from Clark University!
For the 2021 – 2022 application cycle, Clark will meet 100% of demonstrated financial need for all Early Decision applicants. This recent announcement was made by Meredith Twombly, Vice President of Admissions & Financial Aid. In it, she said, “We know that financial uncertainty prevents many students from committing to their top choice institution through a binding admissions plan, and we hope this change dispels that uncertainty for prospective families.” For those of you unfamiliar with Clark, located in Worcester, MA, it is one of the 44 highly regarded Colleges That Change Lives (CTCL). To learn more about Early Decision at Clark, go to the university’s new ED webpage. To qualify for need-based financial aid, students must submit their financial aid application materials by the admissions deadline. (i.e., either 11/15/2021 for ED1 or 1/15/2022 for ED2). All students are equally considered for merit-based scholarships, The university emphasizes that Early Decision applicants are just as likely to receive merit aid as students in Early Action and Regular Decision plans. All accepted students will receive a preliminary financial aid award with their admit packet. Ms. Twombly added, “Regardless of application plan, we hope students will apply and consider becoming members of Clark's Class of 2026!" |
